Skybreak Squadron promotional illustration: blue and red fighters challenge Black Crown above coast, desert, and storm.

Three sectors. Three flagships. One last duel in the storm.

Launch a compact vertical arcade shooter through an occupied tropical coast, a desert refinery corridor, and a midnight ocean. Dodge aimed volleys, collect weapon crates, break enemy formations, and face Black Crown, a rogue obsidian F-22.

Choose your wings

Fly the blue fighter or the red canard-wing aircraft. Both have the same speed, weapons, powers, and small collision core; choose the silhouette you prefer. Hold Shift for precision movement, keep an eye on the white collision dot, and use a Nova bomb when the sky closes in.

Enlarged reference plate of the actual aircraft art. Scouts dive and cross, bombers sweep, and gunboats send aimed volleys.

Fight through three airspaces

Azure Approach opens above turquoise water and an occupied harbor. Each sector sends two minutes of authored formation waves before its flagship arrives. Clear whole formations for bonus medals and chain kills to raise your multiplier up to ×5.

Ordinary opening sortie after movement and a Nova bomb; captured through the real game.

Redline Canyon narrows the fight over the refinery corridor. Talon interceptors mark an amber lane before diving. Regular enemies gain armor as the sector advances, while your weapon choice and positioning matter more.

Actual Redline Canyon combat above the desert refinery.

Staged live capture: selected sector position, rank-three kit and temporary protection; enemies, weapons, and bullet patterns run through the normal simulation.

Crown of the Storm adds Sidewinder rocket planes and paired rockets that weave across their descent. At its end waits Black Crown, with a telegraphed high-speed dive.

Break the flagships

Face Iron Tide, an airborne carrier with beam attacks; Warhammer, an armored heavy bomber; and Black Crown, the final stealth fighter. Each changes patterns at two health thresholds. Destroying wing guns removes their volleys; warning lanes give you a chance to move before the next major attack.

Build your kit in flight

Choose your next weapon by collecting its crate. The spread cannon covers a wide arc, the pulse laser concentrates fire, and homing missiles pursue targets. Four guaranteed crates arrive during each approach: laser at 0:20, missiles at 0:45, cannon at 1:10, then missiles at 1:35. Let a crate pass to keep your current weapon.

Staged approach; the laser was collected through normal movement and pickup collision.

Power chips raise your weapon to three ranks. Shields absorb a hit, wingmen add fire support, and Nova bombs clear bullets, destroy regular aircraft, and briefly protect you, but only chip 6% of a flagship's health. Losing a life is costly: your weapon rank plus wingmen form your upgrade level, and you keep at most one level per remaining life, always at least one lower than before. Your final life flies with the base cannon. With two or more lives left, one lost rank drops as a recoverable power chip.

Enlarged runtime pickup icons. Supplies and medals are earned during the sortie.

Every new sector starts with the base spread cannon, a shield, and three bombs. Collected upgrades and wingmen reset; score and remaining lives carry on. Graze bullets for points, earn an extra life every 25,000 points up to five, and chase better grades and a personal best.

Train for the next run

The training hangar offers six unranked encounters: each sector with its flagship, or an immediate duel with any boss. Boss practice supplies three lives, three bombs, a shield, and rank-three homing missiles. The enemies keep their normal health and patterns, and practice never changes your campaign best.

Flight controls

  • WASD / arrows: move. Shift: precision movement and visible collision core.
  • F: toggle autofire, initially enabled. Space / Z: fire manually. X: Nova bomb.
  • Escape / P: pause and flight manual. M: toggle the soundtrack.

  • T: training from title or final result. In training, 1–3 choose airspace and Tab switches encounter type.
  • A/D or left/right on the title: choose aircraft. Menus also support mouse clicks.

Three original synth-rock themes follow the airspaces, with local music crossfades and a softer filtered mix while paused. Your music, autofire, aircraft selection, and personal best are remembered.
